This is a hand held oscilloscope. It has two channels, which enables it to display two signals at the same time one above the other so that their relationship can be studied. Many of the car sensors are listed in the 98/2 database with instructions for connection and automatic adjustment of the oscilloscope. However for the power users the main oscilloscope is a fully functionable unit. It can test the ignition system and all known sensors fitted to the car. It has a recording facility so that sensor signals can be viewed over a period of time to try and find that elusive glitch.
